VEKAS has created a comprehensive traceability system, specifically for ice cream makers.The temperature regime has no effect on the solution’s proper operation.
Stages of product control:
- Serialization. Each unit of production is assigned a unique DataMatrix identification
- Aggregation. All individual product codes are read and associated with the next level of product packaging (blocks, boxes, pallets, etc.). There is a possibility of disaggregation and re-labeling in case of defects
- Internal and external tracking. The system database records all product movements across the supply chain
- Consumer control. Verification by the consumer with a smartphone application, confirmation of the authenticity and obtaining information about the product

The system is suitable for both small and large productions. There are two types of solutions:
Automatic systems
Automatic system allows you to fully automate the process of applying codes, reading them, controlling, and so on. Specifically designed for high-performance lines.
Manual systems
Manual system is the simplest way for marking, controlling, and entering information into a database using your computer, your handheld scanner, and software.
